As a working foreman service, you are responsible for the daily supervision and coordination of overhaul projects involving our foundation equipment. You ensure that work runs smoothly, materials are available on time and technicians know what is expected of them. When needed, you are ready to roll up your sleeves and get involved.
What will you do?
In this role, you combine technical expertise with planning and organising activities. You are the main point of contact in the workshop and ensure that overhaul projects are carried out efficiently and according to our quality standards.
Your responsibilities include:
- Planning, organising and coordinating overhaul activities on foundation equipment.
- Ensuring that the required materials and spare parts are available on time.
- Supervising and supporting technicians during their work.
- Sharing your technical knowledge with less experienced colleagues.
- Monitoring the progress and quality of overhaul projects.
- Taking part in hands-on overhaul work when needed.
You will spend approximately 70% of your time on planning, coordination and supervision, and 30% working in the workshop. You will be based at our Middelburg location and report to the service coordinator.
What do you bring?
We are looking for an experienced technician who enjoys taking responsibility and keeping things organised. You work in a structured way, communicate clearly and value delivering high-quality work together with your colleagues.
You also have:
- A completed MBO level 4 qualification, preferably in a technical field, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Experience as a service technician, preferably in mechanical engineering.
- Experience as a workshop supervisor, working foreman or in a similar role.
- Experience in planning and organising technical activities or projects.
- Knowledge of hydraulics is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with ERP systems or a willingness to learn how to use them.
You have a strong focus on quality, a customer-oriented mindset and enjoy working as part of a team. With your practical approach and technical experience, you know how to support colleagues and keep projects running smoothly.
