At Fundex Equipment, you will work on innovative and high-quality foundation drilling rigs that are used worldwide. From our location in Middelburg, you will help build and develop complex technical installations.
As a Systems Technician, you will mainly work in our workshop in Middelburg. Here, you ensure that our installations are built, tested, and prepared to perform flawlessly on site.
What will you do?
- Assemble new machines
- Modify and rebuild existing machines
- Start up and commission installations
- Install engines, winches, various hydraulic components, and other system parts
- Read and work with hydraulic schematics
- Bend and install hydraulic piping
- Inspect and verify installed components
- Collaborate with engineers and fellow technicians to optimise system performance
- Work with a modern PLM system
In addition, you have:
- An MBO level 3 or 4 qualification, preferably in mechatronics or mobile equipment engineering
- Motivation to learn new skills
- The ability and willingness to further develop your hydraulic expertise
Your working environment
You will mainly work in Middelburg in a well-equipped workshop. Occasionally, you will join projects on site to help commission and bring installations into operation at customer locations.

Apprenticeship / entry-level pathway
Even as a student or starter, you are welcome at Fundex. If you do not yet meet the level or experience of a fully qualified technician (for example MBO level 3–4), you can join our company and grow step by step. Through practical experience, guidance, and training, you will develop into a fully skilled professional within our team.
